A friend gave me this CD to help through a very stressful phase. -probably close to a break down. I was taking anxiety meds and multiple supplements. Although I was not diagnosed as such, I believe my adrenals were shot and I was on the verge of a breakdown. The first night I listened to this CD I dozed off and on through the night-replaying it over and over. After a week I was sleeping through the night. Her voice, the music and imagery work beautifully. I use it still on occasion when menopause insomnia flares up.

After having listened to Helpful Sleep for 4 nights I have concluded that While the music is very soothing and I like the narrator's voice, it did not help me fall asleep or go very deep.

I keep my iPod and headphones by my bed. It almost always works the first time -- sometimes I listen to it twice. The music is beautiful. After a full-body calming it is a bit groovy with the gentle guardians but occasionally it's the guardians part that does the trick. Thank you for a wonderful product.

As a nurse, I have a stressful job & yet also need to provide a sense of serenity to my clients. This helps me to relax & unwind after a hard day. The guided imagery is so perfect for me. I highly recommend this title.This can give more peace & tranquility than any tranquilizer or sleeping pill & is only filled with good for you afirmations to surround & relax you into a restful sleep.

I know it works for me when I keep successfully falling asleep at about 5-10 minutes into the recording. It produces deeper rest than I normally experience, clear through until my alarm clock turns on or cellphone is paged. Excellent replicability so far; essentially the same results every time I have used it -- even if my mind was buzzing with details when I first turned out the lights. The fun thing is ... I've still never heard the whole guided imagery track. It looks like I would probably have to intentionally sit up with a cup of coffee after a full nights sleep. But then again, why? I think I'll wait, leave it a mystery and discover the rest of the content slowly should I ever run into a night that's more challenging again. Delightfully nourishing and calming voice. Tasteful music in the background. Holds my interest... that is, until I am sound asleep.

I could not sleep to this because I stayed up laughing hilariously at this crazy lady talking. Good for a great laugh but not for a good night's sleep. Lady is talking about every cell in your body and gentle guardians....TOO FUNNY!!!

Never, in my adult life, had I experienced an actual restorative, quality night's sleep. My doctor's tried high-dose meds, I tried chiro, deep breathing/meditation, weird pillows, herbal tea, exercise, boredom reading, and numerous other ineffective suggestions. Then, a very knowledgeable Complimentary Therapist for Hospice recommended that I just try GI for menopause, depression, etc. I found the Sleep pkg on sale...BR, you have changed my life! I sleep a minimum of 6 rejuvenating hours on average of 5-6 nights a week and I no longer require a nap or two during the day; however, I can take a power nap of 30-45 minutes if I choose and feel refreshed. I've scaled back on the Ambien and am beginning to function almost like normal people during the daylight hours. People are no longer calling me the vampire. Thank you!

I purchased Healthful Sleep 8/23/07. I had problems getting to sleep and if I did I would wake up 3 or 4 hours later. The very first night listening had good nights sleep. Now as soon as I get into bed, it isn't long and I'm ready to fall to asleep. During the day I have plenty of energy and when I wake up I get moving much faster. I listen to it everynight. Wonderful and helpful! I can't stay awake once I begin listening. When I'm stressed I put on this CD and follow along with the instructions. Her voice is so soothing and music so gentle I can't help but fall asleep. I had it on cassette and wore it out, so now I'm ordering a CD.
