Formed in California in 1989 by David Bresler PhD and Martin L. Rossman MD, the Academy trains health and mental health practitioners to provide one-on-one guided imagery to people in need of relaxation and healing, by helping them to deploy their imaginations in very specific, therapeutic ways, tailored to each individual.

The 2-year certificate program provides 65 hours of Advanced Tools training, 52 hours of personal supervision and 33 hours of related, independent study.
