I had fun last week as a guest "expert" along with Phil Goldberg (who wrote The Intuitive Edge) at the Prevention online discussion forum on intuition, I suppose because of my book on intuition, Your Sixth Sense .. Hello again!

I had an interesting week last week as a guest "expert" along with Phil Goldberg (who wrote The Intuitive Edge) at the www.Prevention.com discussion on intuition. My second book, Your Sixth Sense is on the nature of intuition and how to use imagery to enhance that capacity, so that’s why I was invited to participate. Some of the questions were so much fun, that I’ve posted them here on our Ask BR page. It’s been a while since I’ve talked about intuition, and I realized I’ve missed it.

I’m looking forward to giving my workshop on imagery and traumatic stress in Durham on July 7-9. It’s called Breakthroughs in Healing Trauma: Success through Guided Imagery and the New Therapies and it’s for both professionals (9 CEU’s) and trauma survivors as well. You can get more info about it at The ConferenceWorks web page here.

The Health Journeys connection with Duke and the Durham V.A. gets stronger and stronger, as we launch various studies to test the impact of imagery on posttraumatic stress. Thanks to the prodigious talents of Mimi Butterfield MD and Jennifer Strauss PhD, all sorts of exciting research is being launched. And thanks too to the visionary leadership of Wayne Jonas MD of the Samueli Institute, who is funding some of this.

We’ve chosen a host of terrific, new resources for our upcoming catalog, so expect to see evidence of this in a few weeks. Those of you who are still sending goodies for review, by all means keep sending them, but they will go in the big box for now, to be pulled out in a few months for review for the next catalog.

OK, that’s it for now. Take care and be well.
