Well, I just got back from speaking at the exquisite new retreat center that Omega just built up in the hills around Austin, Texas, called Omega at the Crossings. Hello there.
Well, I just got back from speaking at the exquisite new retreat center that Omega just built up in the hills around Austin, Texas, called Omega at the Crossings. http://www.eomega.org/omega/retreats/c865069373d84f4fb27049912bf21c9a/listWorkshops/ It’s a beautiful and quite magical place, that has attracted presenters and participants from just about everywhere. The group that came for my workshop was just wonderful... mostly mental health professionals, docs and nurses, and some trauma survivors, from all over the U.S.
This year is a good time to check this place out, while it’s is still being discovered and it’s still relatively uncrowded. The space is beautiful, the food is terrific (super-healthy, organic and veggie, but a bit more liberal with chicken and fish, and the café sports alcoholic beverages, unlike the Rhinebeck campus - I mean, hey, this is Texas, after all...) and the spa there is extraordinary (trust me, I’m a massage gourmet). It’s so physically beautiful, you start feeling better the minute you enter the reception area. Do check it out if you can. The roster of presenters is pretty amazing, too.
This week I’ve posted two hypnosis and smoking studies on the Hot Research page, and the findings for even a one-shot intervention are pretty impressive, given how difficult it is to quit smoking. Have a look.
And don’t forget to check out our Special Sales and new resources. We’re constantly adding to our catalog, whenever we find something really good to share with you.
Take care and be well.
