I’ll be seeing many of you next week at the much anticipated annual NICABM conference at Hilton Head December 5-12.. A dynamite week of spectacular learning and networking by the sea.. Hello, all.
I’ll be seeing many of you next week at the much anticipated annual NICABM conference at Hilton Head December 5-12, featuring such luminaries as Marion Woodman, Peter Levine, Henry Dreher, Robert Scaer, Harriet Lerner, Nancy Napier, Bill O’Hanlon, Ernest Rossi, Norm Shealy, Joan Borysenko, Fred Gallo, John Diepold, Tara Brach and Julie Lusk, to name just some of the faculty. You still have time to sign up for this dynamite week of spectacular learning and networking by the sea.
This week I’ve updated our Clinician’s Corner, with a new featured practitioner and program - two physicians and a nurse, as luck would have it. Mark Gilbert is a Toronto psychiatrist who has developed several cutting edge, integrative programs that bring mind-body magic to those suffering from chronic pain, trauma, and longterm illness. Harise Stein is a Stanford OBGYN who developed an elegant expansion of Alice Domar’s Infertility program at Harvard. Penny Donnelly, a multi-talented nurse and marriage and family therapist, runs the program, facilitates the groups and works with the research aspects.
When you have a minute, do check out our terrific, holistic gift combinations for the holidays. For children, we have a festive Holiday Gift Bag loaded with two of our most popular kiddie mind-body resources: the fabulous Babar’s Yoga for Elephants book and Roxanne Daleo’s magical From A Grain of Sand CD, along with the cutest little soft and snuggly, designer, plush toy you ever did see.
And for adults in need of some TLC’s, we have the inspired Rejuvenation Gift Box consisting of Sharon O’Connor’s popular Spa book, (offering delicious recipes from America’s most celebrated spas, interspersed with wellness wisdom for revitalizing mind, body and spirit); plus a CD of soothing piano music - the better to dine on these tasty creations with; our own, best-selling Health Journeys guided imagery CD for Relieving Stress; a 10 oz, first-rate, real-deal aromatherapy candle - you can choose one of six fragrances - in a good-looking glass jar; and a mug with 3 herbal tea bags - all in a beautiful gift box. This is a thoughtful and unique collection of goodies to nourish, sooth and enliven all of the senses, for someone you care about who could use a little care and coddling.
Take care and be well.
