Ticks are disgusting. They lurk around in moist, humid woods and grasses just waiting for warm, delicious you to wander by, and then they jump on and bite down. They can gorge so much on your tasty, tasty blood that they swell up to several times their original size. And if that wasn’t gross enough, that tick could be carrying the organism that causes Lyme disease in its digestive system – and spewing it into your bloodstream while it eats.

Your cancer treatment CDs were given to me eight years ago when I was undergoing chemotherapy. It took many times listening to it before the stars aligned and the desired effect occurred, releasing any concerns I had about the process. I purchased several other titles after that.
Now, I have a different life milestone to face.

I've downloaded A Meditation to Help With Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue among others.
Unlike the other meditations I've downloaded, this sounds very general, nothing specific to fibromyalgia and CFS. Can you please confirm I've downloaded what I have purchased?

There's something about longer, warmer summer days that makes it impossible not to crave a break from rules and routine. This sentiment rings especially true this year, after months of isolation and major disruption of all the usual rituals of Spring & early Summer. I can't remember the last time I wanted to get out of my house this badly!
And because summer is summer, there's a special collection of mishaps awaiting us once we've dashed into the great outdoors. I’m not just talking about losing a flip-flop or getting “brain freeze” from a too-big bite of ice cream. These summer health hazards can really ruin the rest of your day...or the rest of the season:

I’ve been listening to you since I discovered you in 2008. My clients and friends have also been listening, since I often bring a boom box to the hospital or session and play a part of One of your CDs( that certainly dates me- the boom box and the CDs!) I think you knew my friend Bob, a social worker, and when his wife was going through a bone marrow transplant, she used your guided imagery. One social worker friend who got an immunization induced variant of shingles couldn’t sleep until I brought over your guided imagery. She jokes about going to bed with Bella.

Could you please share if you have content specific to grief? My daughter's best friend (13) committed suicide.
The mother is also my best friend. I’m looking for other ways to help them both through the grief process.

Do you have a recommended sequence of programs for trauma, related to life-threatening illness?
I’m not sure where to start. I relied on several of your guided imagery audio programs during my cancer treatment. I am now 2 years post-chemo and my scans are clear.
But shortly after I was diagnosed, I also became ill from life-threatening sepsis due to a perforated bowel, leading to multiple surgeries and weeks in the ICU on life support.

I was in the underground garage, walking up the ramp leading to the door of my building when a middle-aged man and woman opened the door to come out.
I backed down the ramp to give them ample room to pass me (read: 6 feet or better). The man stayed by the door while the woman continued to move towards me. I gestured her to allow me a wider berth, which she did with a nice smile.

Well, so how are you holding up during these disorienting times? Having your ups and downs, are you? Egads, we can relate. In fact, all of us here in the virtual office are feeling your pain and some of our own too. But please know that we’re thinking about you, we’re answering your questions and concerns as fast and as patiently as we can, and we’re here to say this too shall pass. The world may look different when it does, but it will still be here.
And we will all suffer our losses – some I know already have - but I’ll bet we’ll be smarter, better and kinder for having had to engage in this stay-alive exercise of thinking about ourselves in the whole - as an aggregate of humans that must survive this.
So, it may seem gratuitous or superfluous to start talking about bone loss during an Apocalypse, People, but actually it’s not – weakened bones can actually be deadly too, even if at a more leisurely pace than the coronavirus.

Okay, it’s here!!
Guided Imagery for Resisting and Preventing Viral Infection by mind-body pioneer (and extremely good guy), Emmett Miller MD, has been edited, equalized, de-essed, de-popped, re-spaced, newly balanced, mixed, bounced, compressed, amplified and possibly even sanctified for all I know.
It’s now ready for dispatch to anyone interested in elevating their immune system and warding off this nasty virus and any others.
