Dear BR,

I am working with a client who has a musical background and she said that she finds the music (that I love!!) on your Depression CD I loaned to her very irritating!! Do you have any CDs with no background music?

Belleruth, Hello.

We met at the Integrative Health conference in New York, at your beautiful presentation. I’m the physician who flew in from Pakistan. I hope you still remember me.

We had talked about a guided imagery audio by a husband and wife team to help with sexual intimacy, for a patient of mine who has a husband with no sexual drive. The husband has no problem with this situation and says he has always been this way. But my patient is troubled, saddened and angered by the situation. Can you remember which audio you mentioned to me? I would like to be able to suggest something to her that could possibly help.

I have your book Invisible heroes published in 2004 but do not agree with your suggestion that people can use antidepressants. I have seen these medications destroy people's lives instead of helping them. In some cases, I have seen them become very ill with little help from the medical community, psychiatrists, or counseling. There are many studies about the danger of these treatments. Anatomy of an Epidemic by Robert Whitaker has lists of the problems as well as the fight that Peter Breggin M.D has brought to the attention of the danger of these drugs in the many books he has written warning us about the dangers. These antidepressants and antipsychotics are causing deaths in nursing homes because they are given to patients who are too much trouble. I would like to know how you feel about these horrible medicines in 2019.

Dear Belleruth,

I would like to use Guided Imagery to lessen the pain of neuropathy in my feet from chemo.

You are a genius. Thank you. I have struggled getting good sleep the past 5 years as a result of being woken up so many times as a new mom. I've had a cascade of health issues as a result. A friend turned me on to your CDs after she was using it successfully to prepare and recover from extensive surgery. I got the sleep one from the library and....for the first time, after countless doctors visits, supplements, and dietary changes, I finally feel like there's some healing going on.

Dear BR,

I have been using your CDs for over 15 years & swear by them. A friend of my daughter is 7 days sober. She is a phone person, so I would like to know if the MP3 is to be downloaded on to a phone or should I get her an MP3 player. Old school here, but I think she would really benefit listening to your new Dr. Leviton guided imagery.

I am put off by what you have to offer. Health Journey's full support of Alcoholics Anonymous is appalling. AA views people through a deficit-based lens. Proof for this statement exists on your website. It calls people who use substances as "skinless", "self-deluded", and "addicts". This kind of language hurts people who struggle with compulsive behavior. It violates some of the basic principles of our social work profession.

Hello Belleruth,

My question is about this version of 12 steps from C.L. I would like to buy but the 12 Steps seem to be very fatalistic:

#1 powerless about XYZ, #2 only help through an external power-force, #6 & #7 change my situation only through an external power-force

That is what they say and what they try to believe, as I see on my sister and on Wikipedia. I would not like to reinforce this IMO disbeliefs/limitations into my head by a well-made hypno-file.

Good morning!

My sister is currently suffering from diabetes II, chronic kidney disease (stage 2) and the doctors are unable still to get her blood pressure under control. While the doctors are suggesting that she have surgery to help with weight loss that will reverse the conditions mention above, I have suggested to my sister that an integrative approach is best. This thought process led me to your site. I have used your products in the past and have been satisfied. Which combination of CDs do you suggest my sister may benefit from given the aforementioned medical issues.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

I’ve been using Belleruth’s guided imagery for many years. I’m now a therapist, and sometimes I like to begin my sessions with mindfulness, especially my couples sessions. I’m looking for a 3-minute audio download to bring calmness, so my clients can feel a sense of calm and clarity during the session. 5 minutes seems too long. Any recommendations from your catalog?

Thank you!
