Francoise Adan

Francoise was born in Italy and grew up in Belgium. She earned a medical degree from the University of Libre de Brussels and following her immigration to the United States, became Board Certified in Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic. In more than 25 years of practicing medicine, Francoise has always practiced mind/body medicine, encouraging patients to understand the connection between the mind, the body and the spirit. Francoise specializes in stress management, work/life balance and the mind/body/spirit connection. Francoise is currently Co-Medical Director of the Connor Integrative Medicine Network at University Hospitals and is an assistant professor at Case Western University Medical School. She considers herself to be an "eternal student" and has earned a yoga teaching certification through Deepak Chopra, acquired a Women's Leadership Certificate and a Coaching Certificate from the Weatherhead School. Francoise has witnessed and been impacted by the resilience of more than 3,500 patients and clients during her career and considers herself a "wellness champion" encouraging her patients, students and colleagues to love themselves and to allow themselves to be "open to joy."
